Data Deletion Request - Kreativ

This page explains how Kreativ users can delete their account and personal data. You can do it yourself inside the Kreativ Android app, or ask us by email.

1. How to Delete Your Account

Option A: in the app (fastest).

• Open Kreativ and log in.
• Open Settings and choose the account deletion option.
• Confirm with a fresh one-time password (OTP) that we send by SMS to your registered mobile number.

• Your registered mobile number
• Your WhatsApp number, if different
• Your user type: Creator, Hirer, or Both
• A short message saying that you want your Kreativ account and personal data deleted

Example:

We may contact you to confirm that the account is yours before we delete anything. This protects users from unauthorized deletion requests.

2. What Happens When You Delete

• Right away: your account is deactivated and your profile is hidden. Your pending inquiries are cancelled, your open Request Board requests are closed and your pending Board replies are withdrawn.
• For 30 days: if you log back in within 30 days, your account is restored. Inquiries cancelled by the deletion stay cancelled.
• After 30 days: we permanently delete your profile, your profile and cover photos, your portfolio, your packages, your badges, your social verification records, your profile-view records, your push notification tokens and your login record.

3. Data That May Be Retained

After the 30 days, we keep a limited set of records:

• A short record with your internal account ID, your role, your sign-up and deletion dates, and a one-way hash of your phone number (not the number itself). We use it to prevent fraud and repeat abuse.
• Inquiry records, for dispute handling, safety, abuse prevention, legal compliance and business records, for as long as reasonably necessary.
• Moderation and admin action records, and security or abuse-prevention records, where we need them for legal, safety or audit reasons.
• Anything else the law requires us to keep.

Where possible, retained data is minimized and kept separate from active use in the app.

4. Public Creator Profiles

If you are a creator, your public profile is hidden from hirers and other creators as soon as you delete your account. After 30 days it is permanently deleted, including your display name, bio, city, categories, profile photo, cover photo, portfolio items, packages, availability, and badges.
